Paula most recently served as the SVP, General Counsel to Hootsuite, a high-growth Canadian tech company. In her role, Paula was a member of the executive team with responsibility for Legal, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Global Expansion and Procurement Functions. She led the company through its rapid global expansion from 100 to 1,100 employees, supported the opening of more than a dozen offices in Europe, Asia and Central America and led the company through eight acquisitions.
Paula particularly understands the unique challenges of high-achieving lawyers juggling caregiving responsibilities and a demanding career. She founded the boutique consulting firm LexGO and obtained her Professional Leadership Coach certification through the College of Executive Coaching.
Paula coaches and mentors in-house lawyers who wish to expand their leadership experience, elevate their ambition, secure their seat at the executive table, increase their reputational capital and be recognized as key contributors to their organization’s success. She has made it a personal goal to mentor lawyers through life and career transitions and guide them to greater satisfaction in their roles.
