Why join ACC Mentor Match?

Mentoring is one of the most effective ways to practice leadership, solve real-world challenges, and build relationships with other in-house counsel.

  • Mentees receive specific advice on their current role, career decisions, and day-to-day challenges from experienced in-house counsel and legal operations professionals.
  • Mentors support other in-house counsel as they grow in their roles while strengthening their coaching skills and reflecting on their own leadership approach.

How the Program Works

  1. Create your profile: Share your experience, interests, and goals.
  2. Search for a mentor: Mentees use the Mentor Search directory to filter by practice area, location, industry, and mentoring expertise.
  3. Send a mentoring request: Connect with a mentor by sending a request that includes your goal and why you would like to work with them.
  4. Confirm the match: The mentor reviews your request and confirms the match.
  5. Meet regularly: Work together toward your agreed goal, with meetings every two to four weeks and a clear focus for each session.

The Mentor Match platform makes it easy to find professionals whose experience aligns with your goals.
