<h2>Large Law</h2>
ACC and Empsight International, LLC, conducted this survey in the spring of 2013. With more than 450 participating companies, Empsight's portfolio of in-house law department compensation surveys is the largest of its kind in the U.S. In 2013 the large law survey edition included 170 Participants with an average participant revenue size in excess of $32 Billion. This survey enables law departments in large complex organizations to gain an in-depth perspective on base, annual, and long term compensation for a full hierarchy of legal positions. This information is more comprehensive than other survey formats such as broad industry or multi-department surveys that do not provide the same level of detail in terms of positions covered, legal specialty, department size, staffing, and spending practices.<p></p>

<h2>Mid-market Law</h2>
In the spring of 2013, ACC and Empsight conducted this survey. With more than 450 participating companies, Empsight's portfolio of in-house law department compensation surveys is the largest of its kind in the U.S. In 2013 the mid-law survey edition included 83 Participants with an average participant revenue size in excess of $2.0 Billion. This survey enables law departments in organizations ($750 Million to $4 Billion) to gain an in-depth perspective on base, annual, and long term compensation for a full hierarchy of legal positions. This information is more comprehensive than other survey formats such as broad industry or multi-department surveys that do not provide the same level of detail in terms of positions covered, legal specialty, department size, and staffing, practices.

<h2>Small Law</h2>
The survey was developed and conducted by Empsight International, LLC, a publisher of compensation surveys in select markets in association with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC). The survey provides a comprehensive overview of compensation and other human resources practices as they apply to smaller in-house law departments in companies with revenues of $750 million and below. The Survey reports on the general counsel and 15 attorney and non-attorney positions.
