As the implementation of the reformed US TSCA continues apace, a number of states are proceeding with their own regulatory programs. Required warnings and other disclosures, potential inclusion of chemicals on lists of potential hazards, and state enforcement pose challenges not only in specific states but also across the U.S. given the “patchwork quilt” effect. At this program, Lauren Hopkins
and Mark Duvall
of Beveridge & Diamond’s Chemicals Practice
will provide an update on some key states’ activities, identify some larger trends, and suggest ways counsel can ensure their companies effectively navigate evolving state and federal chemical regulations.
