On 1 January 2025, the revised Swiss Code of Civil Procedure will come into effect. One of its most significant new provisions is the introduction of legal privilege for in-house legal counsel. Andreas Lienhard, partner in the Litigation & Arbitration and Employment & Pensions practice groups, will present this new provision and discuss its impact on daily practice. He'll explore the scope of the new legal privilege for in-house legal counsels, the requirements, and its practical implementation. Additionally, he'll consider how companies can best organize themselves to make the most of this new privilege.
This event is in particular directed to inhouse legal or board members.
