Overview (Program Summary)
This session will focus on the state privacy laws that are going into effect in 2023 as well as current litigation trends involving privacy issues. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia all have new (or newly amended) privacy laws that will become effective, and class action lawsuits involving companies that use “session replay” tools and chat bots on their websites are proliferating across the country. The update will cover the key steps to take for compliance with the new laws and to put your company in the best defensive posture to ward off privacy lawsuits.
