ACC NEO RoundTables are a casual forum for ACC NEO members to collaborate with each other regarding typical in-house concerns—with a dash of perspective from outside counsel.

Our proposed discussion topic is estate planning and probate.

While most of us don't want to think too much about it, at some point you will need to handle the estate and will of a loved one. You may also want to organize things in advance for them or perhaps even for yourself. (Planning in advance is a gift to your family, who will want to focus on grieving you, not haggling over funeral and burial costs.)

Let's talk about what you need to do from a legal perspective before, during and after death. Attorneys from Frantz Ward's Estate Planning and Probate practice group will moderate the discussion.
