PANEL 1: The Next Normal: Employment Law Issues Post COVID

What are some of the challenges in the (almost) post-pandemic world for employers? This section will focus on the challenges and pitfalls of the hybrid and remote workplace. We will talk about how to manage it and how to avoid claims of discrimination. We will also discuss recruitment and retention in a tight labor market and ways to address it without running afoul of legal obstacles. Finally, we will cover continuing legislative and planning issues as employers come out from the pandemic.

The panel will also preview new privacy laws that will go into effect in 2023.
