Join Steptoe & Johnson lawyers, Nelva Smith, Bill Wahoff and Kevin Hess, as they provide you with a foundational knowledge of labor and employment laws and how they impact your workplace.  They will touch on the latest developments related to COVID-19, FMLA, discrimination, and workplace safety.  Specifically, they will address current employer best practices as it relates to COVID-19, as well as other health and safety concerns targeted by OSHA in various industries; interplay between the FMLA, the ADA, and employee leave requests; and workers’ compensation considerations and how those may interplay with OSHA, FMLA, and ADA. Additionally, they will provide a brief update regarding recent cases involving allegations of different types of discrimination.
