A program hosted by:

ACC Charlotte

Even with a divided Congress, President-elect Joe Biden is likely to make a variety of changes that will impact corporations. In this session, Parker Poe lobbyist Bruce Thompson will break down what in-house counsel need to know to help their companies navigate the next four years. He will discuss:

•  The timing and impact of Biden unraveling some of President Trump’s executive orders, including in the areas of immigration, employment, health care, and the environment.

• The potential leaders for federal agencies and what their appointments would mean for the regulatory framework.

• The new direction for U.S. trade policy under Biden and how that will impact tariffs and international agreements.

• Where Biden and Congress may be able to compromise, including in certain aspects of tax policy.
