Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Charlotte

In recent years, the use of biometric technology has expanded across many industries and has affected businesses and consumers alike. As the benefits and applications of this technology continue to grow in the retail space, compliance and litigation risks will be difficult for retailers to avoid.  While at times tricky for retailers to navigate the varying laws, compliance is not impossible.  This CLE will discuss the retail applications of biometrics technology and how it may affect you, the current and potential biometrics laws retailers and other companies should be aware of, potential compliance and litigation risks, and where the future of biometric regulation and litigation is headed.
