Ready, Set, Go! Become Financially Fit: Introduction to Accounting and Financial Statements for Attorneys
An understanding of accounting is critical to evaluating a business’s position at a given time, to determining whether the business is achieving its goals or falling behind; and to enable others (such as prospective lenders and investors) to assess the business’s financial position. The goal of this course is to provide foundational knowledge of accounting that can help you understand how to read financial statements, how they are prepared, and how (in some cases) they are abused.
This course will provide an introduction to accounting basics such as financial statements and their components, frequently used terminology and the accounting process.
