Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Southern California

The COVID-19 pandemic is significantly impacting the litigation space.  Experienced trial attorneys, Bron D’Angelo and Andrew Smith, who practice in the areas of Business Litigation and Personal Injury-Defense, will lead a discussion on how the California state and federal courts are handling litigation and trials during the COVID-19 pandemic.  They will share their insights and provide an overview of the fast-developing changes in the litigation landscape; addressing evolving court practices along with critically important issues such as handling depositions, hearings, and mediations remotely.  They will also discuss the nature and extent of delays in trials, as well as virtual jury trials and how COVID-19 may affect how jurors decide cases.
