Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Europe

Companies in the luxury and fashion industry have had to adapt quickly to the challenges posed by COVID-19.  Many of the trends we are witnessing will continue to accelerate and further challenge businesses, but equally, also represent opportunities to be innovative, connect with clients in different ways, reshape business models, and manage costs.

What’s the role of the GC in this dynamic environment? What are some the best practice approaches being implemented in the sector? What are the key risks to be managed?

We would like to invite you to participate in an interactive GC roundtable session. This will involve a small group of GCs in the luxury sector, and feature:

Luca Chiama, Legal Director at Prada
Germana Mentil, General Counsel at Salvatore Ferragamo

Specifically, some of the topics will touch on the following:
•    Prioritization and risk management
•    Corporate and capital raising
•    IP / brand protection globally
•    Supply chain & logistics
•    Shift in focus to e-commerce sales channels

Session will be facilitated by a team of K&L Gates partners, regarded as market leaders in the luxury and fashion sector.
