Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Europe

The scope of legal privilege for inhouse lawyers in the EU continues to make the headlines given the stark discrepancies that still exist between individual member states. While countries such as Spain recognised inhouse privilege in a reform adapted earlier this year, others like France remain opposed to such measure despite recent reviews commissioned into this area.

During this webinar our expert panel will discuss the latest legal developments taking place at both regional and national level around the role of legal privilege for inhouse lawyers working in the EU. We will also cover the practical implications of legal privilege for inhouse lawyers in their day-to-day work, particularly when handling an internal investigation or other regulatory enquiry.

Speakers:

Karen Coppens, National Partner, Dechert LLP

Javier Ramirez, ACC Europe Chair of Advocacy and Member of the Board of Directors

Victor Rudebeck, Associate Director, Control Risks
