Join fellow ACC members and our sponsor, Faegre Drinker, as we enjoy a bottle of Hess wine and follow the Hess Collection’s Museum Director through a guided tour of their modern gallery.
This unique event simply requires that you register, select your preferred wine (red or white) and join the tasting and tour via Zoom! All ACC SFBA members are welcome.
The Wine:
Lion Tamer White This winery-only blend is a beautiful combination of Pinot Gris, Albariño, and Grüner Veltliner. Bright and fresh aromas of apricot and orange blossom lift from the glass. Lion Tamer Red The signature of Lion Tamer is a generous palate of black raspberry and surprisingly lush tannins. Malbec serves as our “tannin tamer” as this wine layers in Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Art:
The Collection Donald Hess began collecting art in 1966. Today, The Hess Collection houses less than a quarter of a collection that is shown in museums worldwide. His collecting style is a personal endeavor driven by passion rather than monetary investment or current trends. The Hess Art Museum is an extensive collection of modern & contemporary art.
