Overview (Program Summary)
Legal counsel regularly deal with issues around the outsourcing of data. In particular IT projects, such as the outsourcing of data storage, payroll activities or customer data processing, require dedicated time and resources. No matter if for small and big companies or whether one is a specialist in this field or not, in-house counsels are regularly confronted with such projects and often bear the entire responsibility for the negotiation of the agreements, for the correct set up and the coordination between experts of different level and capacities and ensure the follow up of the projects.
Against this background, we would like to present and discuss the most important legal and related issues in the context of the outsourcing of data. For those attending live, presentations will be followed by an apéro and the opportunity to network and discuss current issues with fellow in-house counsels.
After a considerable time without any in-person events, we would like to offer to get together and meet physically at the Widder Hotel. Certainly, this meeting will be strictly subject to current standards and health and safety measures, in particular the precautionary measures of Widder Hotel. The large room at Widder Hotel for the presentations and the panel as well as a separate room for the apéro will allow participants attending in person to maintain social distancing. If you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
