ACC EuropeLegal counsel regularly deal with issues around the outsourcing of data. In particular IT projects, such as the outsourcing of data storage, payroll activities or customer data processing, require dedicated time and resources. No matter if for small and big companies or whether one is a specialist in this field or not, in-house counsels are regularly confronted with such projects and often bear the entire responsibility for the negotiation of the agreements, for the correct set up and the coordination between experts of different level and capacities and ensure the follow up of the projects.
Against this background, we would like to present and discuss the most important legal and related issues in the context of the outsourcing of data.
