Important Appellate Decisions & the Need for Appellate Counsel

This CLE will focus on recent appellate decisions from the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit, and the South Carolina appellate courts impacting business (as well as some other decisions that made the news). It will highlight what these decisions mean for in-house counsel who must manage litigation and risk.

The CLE will also explain the need for appellate counsel, particularly in cases with large exposure or the potential to be precedential. Trial and appellate courts are different, and understanding the value of an appellate lawyer is important.
