A discussion led by a panel of specialists from the technology in financial services group at global law practice Eversheds Sutherland will explore the thematic shifts and surrounding regulatory environment for the rapid digitalisation being seen of assets, products and processes to manage those operations in the sector.
As obligations around data privacy and the intersection with digital resilience are challenged by the increasing recognition of the value of big data and the evolving use of artificial intelligence, we enter the realm of data ethics, an emerging area of importance now beginning to be scrutinised by regulators. The tokenisation of money, payment forms and capital represents the growing evolution of the digital assets strategy of financial institutions and the emerging new entrants into the market.
