Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC National Capital Region

Maintaining a proper insurance portfolio is critical to protect a non-profit's mission. What types of insurance should a non-profit carry? Does a non-profit really need directors and officers insurance? How are limits and deductibles determined and what does that mean for premiums? Should non-profits be requiring insurance of their vendors and contractors? In this presentation the speakers will demystify Insurance for non-profits and walk through the various types of insurance available to them including general liability, property, employers liability, cyber/privacy liability and directors and officers liability. They'll also explain how non-profits can transfer some risk by requiring the businesses with whom they engage to maintain insurance via contract.

Speakers

Presented by Selena Linde, Partner and Cathy Del Prete, Counsel with Perkins Coie; Keith Mulvihill, Client Executive with Lockton Companies; and an in-house panelist.
