Over the past year, the SEC has been making a concerted effort to simplify its disclosure rules and regulations, but what are the key take-aways to these adjustments?  Our panel will cover the changes that impact all public companies or companies thinking of going public, including changes to forms and what can now be eliminated from filings, but also a few additional new requirements.   We'll also review other recent SEC developments and current issues on their agenda including:

  • Disclosure simplifications;
  • Changes to definitions of smaller reporting company and accelerated filer;
  • Accounting updates for lawyers: Proposed changes for Regulation S-X financial statement requirements; critical audit matters; concept release on quarterly reporting; and,
  • Other SEC hot topics - risk factors (cyber, LIBOR, Brexit et al); exclusive forum, arbitration clauses; Regulation G; proxy reform; S-8/Rule 701.

Register below to gain insight into the revised SEC requirements and expedite your current and future filings.
