Overview (Program Summary)

Mergers and acquisitions are complex involving a myriad of legal issues and considerations.  Closing the deal is just the beginning.  Post-acquisition integration is a critical, but sometimes overlooked, factor in a successful M&A transaction.  Whether as buyer or seller, a substantial portion of the integration burden often falls to GCs, and there are a host of legal issues, as well as potential pitfalls, to address.  Government contractors must also address additional regulatory and business considerations in the integration process.

Our panel of experienced general counsel and M&A and government contracts practitioners will discuss pre-closing integration planning, what happens both on the closing date and after the deal, and tips to avoid common post-acquisition mistakes.

Presented by Jonathan Wolcott and Mary Beth Bosco, Partners with Holland & Knight LLP; Brian Geoghegan, former Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, SOS International LLC and ACC NCR 2018 Chief Legal Officer of the Year and Danielle Willard Noe, Corporate Counsel, KeyW, a Jacobs company.

Moderated by Matt Dost, General Counsel and Director of Contracts, Allied Associates International.

Lunch will begin at 12:00.  The panel presentation will start at 12:30.
