DFARS 252.204-7012, Safeguarding Covered Defense Information and Cyber Incident Reporting, required contractors to put into place the cyber security safeguarding standards set forth in NIST SP 800-171. Defense contractors were required to implement NIST SP 800-171, as soon as practical, but not later than December 31, 2017.
This panel of government and industry experts will explore the current guidance, enforcement and compliance trends, and best practices in this rapidly-evolving area.
