ACC Wisconsin is proud to partner with the Milwaukee Bar Association to offer the following two pro bono opportunities to its members:
The Milwaukee Justice Center
The Milwaukee Justice Center is an organization that helps pro se family law litigants navigate the judicial process at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. Most volunteer attorneys work two hours per month, and scheduling is flexible. Training is accomplished via video, and the first session is spent shadowing another attorney. The clinic is also staffed by supervisors who can help to resolve any complex issues that arise. Please note that the Milwaukee Justice Center is not covered by malpractice insurance since it does not dispense legal advice.

Brief Legal Advice Clinic
The Brief Legal Advice Clinic is an organization that gives legal advice, primarily on poverty law, landlord / tenant, small claims and consumer debt issues at the Milwaukee County Courthouse on Thursday and Friday afternoons, from 2pm - 4pm. Training is accomplished in person or is available online. Malpractice insurance is covered under the Marquette University Law School’s policy.
