Details
Location:

LIVE at Valo Park, 7950 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, Virginia, OR BY WEBCAST from your desk.

Overview

Litigation is a fact of life for companies regardless of size. It spans from matters that threaten a company’s existence, to significant contract and regulatory matters, to defense against annoyance suits. Litigation can also be an offensive arrow in a company’s quiver to achieve important goals or to protect valuable assets. Besides the nature of the matter, the effect it has on a company - and how it is handled within - may vary greatly depending on the nature of whomever constitutes “management,” the company’s agenda and its budget.

This interactive discussion between seasoned in-house counsel and outside counsel will delve into the need to assess the team and will offer ideas on what goes into managing your executive team’s expectations and the litigation process within the company. They also will delve into the practical challenges of preparing executives for deposition and trial, as well as the use of alternative dispute resolution in such matters.

Speakers

Presented by Anthony Anikeeff, Partner, Williams Mullen; Scott Boylan, Former General Counsel, MorphoTrust, LLC; and Lance Lerman, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Iron Bow Technologies.
