Overview

The automotive industry is experiencing the biggest innovation cycle since the invention of the automobile itself. Today's topics include Digitisation, Connectivity, Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS), Steer-by-Wire/Brake-by-Wire, drive by electrics, fuel cell and hybrid drive as well as – on a broader level – Mobility and Sharing.

These areas of innovation require an ever increasing amount of IT infrastructure in the vehicle and also in the back-end. While the vehicle infrastructure is often referred to as "at the edge", which has to be connected, reliable, available, etc; the Datacenter infrastructures are at the opposite pole and need to provide for as much flexibility as possible. Alternatively, public cloud services could be used as extended workload infrastructure.

New technologies will give the automotive customers extremely flexible IT infrastructures inside and outside the vehicles.

This seminar will take a closer look into new technologies in the automotive market and how Hewlett Packard Enterprise is helping its customers to be successful in this demanding market.  In addition, there is an increasing number of legal implications due to the generated data being shared throughout the economy and across borders.
