While the vehicle infrastructure is often referred to as "at the edge", which has to be connected, reliable, available, etc; the Datacenter infrastructures are at the opposite pole and need to provide for as much flexibility as possible. Alternatively, public cloud services could be used as extended workload infrastructure.
