April 2020, in the middle of a pandemic and from home.
In what year did you first work in-house?
2020. Prior to that, I spent 11 years as a litigator in private practice with a stint as a law clerk.

What do you consider to be your most pivotal career move?
Making the recent jump in house was the first and so far most pivotal career move I made.
What's the best thing about your current job?
No Friday at 5:00 p.m. TROs (so far)!
What's the worst job you've ever had?
None of them. Each one was a learning experience. That said, I was a waitress for one day.
What's the most valuable life lesson you still apply today?
Never look in the rear view mirror (except when driving)!
What do you consider to be the best thing about ACC membership?
As a new member so far, the breadth of resources that I can access to learn about new legal topics I never knew existed.
How do you achieve work/life balance?
I don’t have a choice, I have young kids.
If I were not practicing law, I'd... be an interior designer or a travel journalist.
My favorite vacation spot is... anywhere without kids, even the grocery store! Or, any beach.
A place I've never been but would most like to visit is... currently, Japan.
My all-time favorite movie is... Ghostbusters.
Even people who know me might be surprised to learn that... I earned a black belt in Taekwondo when I was younger.

A Manchester terrier-mix named Maple who came from Arkansas and a few butterflies which will soon be released.
