Want to get involved in ACC Georgia? Joining a committee is the best way to start! Here is a brief listing of our chapter committees and contacts for each committee.
Sponsorships and Programs Committee
This committee secures leading law firms to sponsor and present timely topics at our monthly luncheon meetings. Held on the second Tuesday of each month (except for April), our luncheons provide CLE credits and fantastic networking opportunities. The firm's sponsorship fee covers the cost of the lunch and funds other ACC Georgia activities and charitable efforts enhancing the legal profession. Monthly luncheons often sell-out with a maximum of 130 attendees.
Practice Groups and Leadership Committee
This committee secures leading law firms to sponsor and present timely topics at our deep dive luncheon meetings and leadership workshops. The programs provide CLE credits and fantastic networking opportunities. The firms’ sponsorship fees cover the cost of the programs and fund other ACC Georgia activities and charitable efforts enhancing the legal profession. Both, our deep dive luncheons and leadership workshops often sell-out with a maximum of 30 attendees.
Special Programs Committee
The Special Programs Committee coordinates useful educational and networking events outside of our monthly luncheons with law firm sponsors. These events include the spring ACC/PBPA CLE Challenge (formerly Value Challenge) all-day CLE event benefiting Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, the summer Atlanta Braves CLE event and ballgame at Truist Park, the fall CLE Jamboree all-day CLE event, and several other afternoon and evening events.
Member Outreach Committee
The Member Outreach Committee expands our membership roster and focuses on member participation and involvement. By soliciting new members, strengthening members' connections to the chapter, and following up with potential and lapsed members, the Membership Committee advocates for our members' interests.
