ACC Files Amicus Brief in Unauthorized Practice Matter
ACC filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court of Texas in support of an insurance company's use of duly licensed attorneys employed to represent the aligned interests of the insurance company and its policyholders in defending covered claims. ACC's position is that it is beneficial to the public and does not constitute the unauthorized practice of law.
We would like to thank the ACC Insurance Staff Counsel Committee for their hard work in this matter.
