Upon joining DHC in 2006, one of the first things I did was sign up for the ACC. And, boy, was I glad I did. As a legal department of one, not only did the events make it easy and cost effective to get CLE, but it provided me with a network of colleagues and resources that it would have taken me years to accumulate on my own.
