Two decades ago, Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP (MGKF) started a new and different firm – concentrating its practice in environmental, land use and energy law. We have incorporated green practices within our own offices since our founding and understand today’s complex compliance, transactional, and litigation problems. As we celebrate our twentieth year of service, we continue to redefine ourselves in our commitment to stay ahead of the curve, in our knowledge of these areas of law, and in our efforts to partner with in-house counsel to help your businesses succeed.
Accordingly, we see the Association of Corporate Counsel’s “Green-house Counsel” column as a perfect fit. The column will now appear monthly and will focus corporate counsel on the most salient new developments in these areas of law to heighten your understanding of, and ability to handle, emerging issues that come across your desk.
In the coming year we are currently planning to address topics such as:
- Green Lending
- Green Energy and Outsourcing
- Environmental Reporting and Permitting
- Sustainability
- Environmental Justice
- Litigation
Since we want to address issues of concern and interest to the members of the ACC, we welcome your input on these and other future topics.
