Pay Attention to Your Thermostat
Jun 8, 2009 Heating and cooling office buildings requires large amounts of energy. Conserve some of that energy by turning the temperature up during the summer and down during the winter.
Follow the Department of Energy's recommendations and set the air conditioning at 78 degrees and the heating at 70 degrees. In addition, during nights and weekends, don't expend useless energy to maintain those temperatures when no one is working. Use the same limits in your home to add to the overall environmental benefits
