Pay Attention to Environmental Issues in Emerging Markets

Apr 27, 2009

The United States is not alone in developing new environmental laws and regulations.  For instance, China has been diligently working over recent years to develop, implement, and enforce an environmental law framework.  The United States Environmental Protection Agency even launched a China Environmental Law Initiative in 2007 to encourage a continuing dialogue between the countries.

As many industries wish to expand into China, it is vital to understand its environmental regulations, and goals for future environmentally-friendly changes.
