Author Requirements

Any in-house attorney practicing in Europe can write for European Briefings℠ (ACC membership is not required). Author teams of both outside and in-house counsel can also contribute. Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors(s) and not previously published or simultaneously submitted to another publication. Self-promotional articles are not accepted.

Article Style & Topics

Imagine your audience is your board of directors. Your stockholders, vendors and employees have heard about new developments in EU labor law, whistleblowing or intellectual property. Now your board has questions, which you, as the company’s in-house counsel, have been asked to answer.

Your 1,500- to 2,000-word briefing should introduce the topic and address its national implications, then describe the anticipated challenges for your company and industry related to the changes ahead. Conclude by recommending actions to take to minimize or avoid problems while maximizing your company’s ability to succeed.
