ACC Docket-Asian Briefings

Asian Briefings℠ is a new region-focused newsletter published semi-annually. It will explore current legal topics that impact countries in Asia. These topics might include a major new law, a groundbreaking case, an innovative way of doing business — any developments that boards of directors and legal departments will need to understand and be able to address. Each briefing provides vital perspective for large and small companies and a wide range of industries.

Author Requirements

Any in-house attorney practicing in Asia can write for Asian Briefings (ACC membership is not required). Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors(s) and not previously published or simultaneously submitted to another publication. Self-promotional articles are not accepted.

Article Style & Topics

Imagine your audience is your board of directors. Your stockholders, vendors and employees have heard about an issue that will significantly impact your company’s business. Now your board has questions, which you, as the company’s in-house counsel, have been asked to answer.

Your 1,500- to 2,000-word briefing should introduce the topic and address its national implications, then describe the anticipated challenges for your company and industry related to the changes ahead. Conclude by recommending actions to take to minimize or avoid problems while maximizing your company’s ability to succeed.
