The Grand Hyatt Washington is the host hotel for ACCA's 2000 Annual Meeting.
Located in the heart of downtown DC, the hotel offers a premier location, deluxe
accommodations, a fully equipped health club, and a myriad of in-house dining
options. Step outside and you're within walking distance of the city's most
popular sites.
Marriott Metro Center
The Marriott Metro Center, conveniently located just one block from the Grand
Hyatt, will serve as ACCA's overflow hotel. Its location provides easy access to
the Metro Center station of the Metrorail and offers a range of amenities
including an indoor pool and health club facilities.
Visiting DC
The Washington area offers a wide variety of activities that we hope you'll take
advantage of. Within walking distance or only a short metro ride away (the metro
subway system can be easily accessed through the lobby of the Grand Hyatt),
you'll find: the White House, the U.S. Capitol, FBI headquarters, Ford's Theatre,
10 Smithsonian museums (including the American History Museum, the Air and Space
Museum, and the Museum of Natural History), the National Gallery of Art, the
Holocaust Museum, the Washington Monument, and many national memorials such as
the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, and
the FDR Memorial. You can also catch a game or other entertainment events at the
MCI Center, home of the NHL's Washington Capitals, the NBA's Wizards, and the
WNBA's Mystics. ACCA's WMACCA Chapter will have information on these and lots of

Airport Transportation
From Reagan National Airport, the Grand Hyatt is a 15-minute drive. The
following methods of transportation are available: average taxi fare is $13;
SuperShuttle (800/BLUE-VAN) provides shuttle service for $9; Washington Flyer
(703/685-1400) provides shuttle service for $8; and Metrorail is directly
accessible from the airport and the hotel via the Blue Line and the Metro Center
station.
From Dulles International Airport, the Grand Hyatt is a 45-minute drive. The
following methods of transportation are available: average taxi fare is $43;
SuperShuttle (800/BLUE-VAN) provides shuttle service for $20; and Washington
Flyer (703/685-1400) provides shuttle service for $16.
From BWI, the hotel is approximately a one-hour drive. The following methods of
transportation are available: average taxi fare is $55; SuperShuttle
(800/BLUE-VAN) provides shuttle service for $28; and Airport Express
(800/977-2828) will provide transportation for $30.
