This webcast will give practical advice to help corporations obtain and review their insurance program and other contracts to make sure that there is coverage when the corporation is obligated to defend or indemnify.The webcast will discuss: 1) Different statutory and legal requirements surrounding a corporation’s obligation or agreement to indemnify corporate officers, directors and others; 2) Whether coverage exists under standard liability policies, and maximizing the chances of obtaining coverage under them; 3) Whether coverage is available pursuant to an “Additional Insured” endorsement or other insurance provision; 4) A discussion of common issues relating to indemnification and insurance; and 5) Ways to maximize the corporation’s, officers’ and directors’ chance of recovery should an indemnification claim be made.
