Litigation Assessments and Maximizing Strategic Relationships with Outside Counsel
Duration: 1 Hour
The first part of this program discusses the purposes for systematic assessment of potential or ongoing litigation. It then describes and evaluates the different techniques available to the in-house lawyer, concentrating on use in discussions with outside counsel and internal management. The program then considers other factors affecting the evaluation process. In the second portion of the program, you will learn about specific tools available to in-house counsel to create an effective system to maximize the value of outside counsel. This session will review and evaluate specific strategies that have been implemented in the legal departments of some of the country's top companies. Learn what works and why.
