There are increasing calls for corporate disclosures of climate-related issues. This presentation will examine the existing (and potential future) legal requirements applicable to climate change disclosure and potential liability of directors and officers for deficiencies in such disclosures. Finally, the presentation will provide an overview of the role of directors’ and officers’ liability insurance in responding to claims arising from climate-related disclosures.
