Join speakers from the Insolvency and Workout Group of Western Canada's largest law firm, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, for an overview of restructuring topics that are becoming increasingly relevant to the global energy community. The presenters will provide an overview of common Canadian insolvency processes highlighting similarities and differences to U.S. processes. They will also address the current and proposed legislative changes to the Canadian insolvency regimes and their potential impacts to U.S. creditors and debtors. Included in this presentation is a summary of recent developments in Canadian law on cross-border restructurings and related energy issues.
