With spring just around the corner,
it's time for OUR ANNUAL
Potomac River Watershed Cleanup PROJECT
Whether YOU WANT community service hours, a merit badge, or just to get your hands dirty for a good cause, PLAN TO join THE WMACCA "In-HOUSE... IN THE COMMUNITY" TEAM for the Alice Ferguson Foundation's 22nd Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup on Saturday, April 10, 2010, from 8:45am - 12 noon (RAIN OR SHINE). This year,We will be at the C&O Canal cleanup site (park across from, not at, Old Angler's Inn) in Potomac, MD (near Great Falls, MD). bring friends, family (INCLUDING kids) and colleagues. Each year, Thousands of volunteers of all ages pick up trash from cleanup sites all along the Potomac watershed. We are happy to be part of this event to protect the potomac.
