BACK TO THE CLASSROOM
WMACCA's September CLE line-up has something for everyone -- including a full-day conference on Privacy and Data Security and an Ethics program (already approved for 2.0 hours of Virginia Bar MCLE credit). Check out all the possibilities by clicking here.
ALL NEW WATERGATE CLE - THE ETHICS OF NEGOTIATION
WMACCA is pleased to welcome back former White House Counsel John Dean and attorney and presidential historian James D. Robenalt of Thompson Hine LLP for a brand new program drawing on the lessons of Watergate. As attempts to cover up the Watergate burglary began to unravel, Mr. Dean and his lawyer, Charlie Shaffer, played a high stakes game of poker with the White House, prosecutors and the Senate Judiciary Committee, as they negotiated the terms under which Mr. Dean would testify against the President and former colleagues. In this program, Mr. Dean and Mr. Robenalt will provide the ultimate case study on the ethics of negotiations, particularly in high-stakes matters. WMACCA is applying for 2.0 hours of Virginia Bar MCLE (Ethics) credit for this program. This program will be presented on Oct. 21 in Richmond and on Oct. 22 in McLean.
