ACC Israel

President's Message

GideonRosenbergDear Members of ACC Israel, Participants, Sponsors and Guests:

2011 marks a special year for ACC Israel (ACCI), as we enter into our second decade of activity.

ACCI, the leading organization for in-house corporate counsel in Israel, is in the midst of great progress in establishing the inherent importance of in-house counsel in corporations, and the organization's position as an influential stakeholder in decision making in Israel.

Nearly 200 in-house counsel from some of Israel's leading corporations are now part of ACCI's growing cohort. Our members enjoy ACCI's unique platform, allowing them to enrich their professional knowledge and confront  complex legal and business issues which challenge us daily.

ACCI offers our members professional enrichment through varied seminars, workshops and meetings, access to specialized data bases and the opportunity to network with colleagues from both Israel and abroad.

ACCI's plans for 2011-12 are ambitious - new professional forums are being established in order to provide our members with specific training suited to their specialties, we are preparing an exciting program for our annual conference in June '11, we will launch our new web site later this year and we are reaching out to ACC chapters around the world in order to explore trans-border cooperation for the benefit of our members.

Our most important task is to increase the number of ACCI members. By increasing our membership, we will gain even greater influence, and increase the diversity and quality of our activities.

I am pleased to welcome ACCI's new members as well as our new board members, Ron Belkine (in-house counsel for Leadcom), Keren Yachin-Doron (in-house counsel for Levinstein Group) and Hagar Cohen (in-house counsel for Ness). I encourage members, new and senior alike, to take part in our varied activities. I welcome any member who is willing to contribute and assist our operations.

Finally, I would like to congratulate you for your choice to become a member of ACCI.

I prefer to refer to ourselves not as an organization – but as a family; a family of in-house counsels, which derives its power from our joint forces, helping us to face the professional and personal challenges standing before us.
