ACC-IA is the Iowa Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. ACC-IA represents the professional interests of over 120 in-house attorneys at over sixty companies throughout the state.

Joining ACC-IA provides many benefits, including the chance to meet, socialize and network with fellow in-house counsel, perhaps while cheering on the Iowa Cubs, attending our annual CLE program in Iowa City, or at one of our Third-Thursday of the month CLE luncheons held at the Embassy Club in Des Moines.

By participating at our various educational, social, and service programs, you have the opportunity to become part of the fabric of the in-house community and increase your own skills and connections while promoting the profile and interests of the in-house bar. ACC-IA provides many opportunities to regularly meet and interact with fellow in-house counsel, exchange useful information, develop lasting friendships, and build a valuable professional network. We encourage active membership and we always welcome new members! ACC-IA members also benefit from the various National ACC Committees addressing substantive practice areas.  Participation can be at many levels from attending our seminars to serving on committees or the board.

We are also proud to be actively involved in our community, particularly as a significant sponsor of Iowa Legal Aid.
