BoyarMiller will present on recent developments in employment law - from a Texas and national perspective - including the potential impact on employers as a result of new laws or recent updates/decisions regarding:
(1) whether “sexual orientation” is a protected class under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act,
(2) laws regarding the legalization of marijuana and restrictions on texting while driving, and
(3) the “Final Rule” for treatment of exempt/non-exempt employees.
