The Employment & Labor Group focuses, from both the federal and state level, on  traditional labor law topics, employee benefit matters, OSHA and HR issues. Board Contact: Eileen Groves.

The Energy Practice Group covers all aspects of the energy industry, including the exploration and production sector, operators and service companies, pipelines, refineries, electric and gas utilities, power generation, coal, LNG, alternative fuels, and energy trading. Board Contact: Scott McCay.

The Intellectual Property Practice Group focuses on all categories of intellectual property law and related issues of importance to in-house counsel, such as intellectual property due diligence prepared by in-house counsel for mergers and acquisitions; licensing; patent prosecution; and patent infringement litigation. The Small Law Department Management Group concentrates on on identifying and sharing best practices for managing people, managing teams and managing your department, delivery of effective appropriate, and cost-conscious legal services to our corporate client. Board Contact: Mark Wolf.

The Latin America Practice Group – Over the years, Houston has positioned itself as a hub for many companies with growing interests in Latin America.  This reality has increased the need for experience and specialized in-house counsel to support their company’s growth within the region. In an effort to support those counsel and generate new opportunities for ACC members in today’s increasingly global practice of the legal profession, ACC Houston has created a new Practice Group focused on Latin American legal issues. We anticipate that members will greatly benefit from expanding their networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities with their colleagues in the new Latin America Practice Group.
