SAVE THE DATE-THE 11TH ANNUAL GOLF AND SPA DAY WILL BE ON APRIL 9, 2010

The 10th annual Golf and Spa Day on April 3 was a huge success.  Over 210 persons participated in the various events. Many thanks to everyone who participated or helped, with special thanks to our sponsors.  While many contributed to this great event, it all starts with our sponsors to whom we are most indebted.

The day began with a networking continental breakfast and a two hour CLE Seminar attended by 150 persons at the Hotel ZaZa.  The speaker was Sean Carter,  a Humorist at Law.  Click here for his program materials.  But words and program materials cannot do justice to this most entertaining  and informative speaker, so click here for a link to his web site, listen to some of his clips,  and  get a flavor of his presentation skills.  He was terrific.

After the CLE seminar, about 70 persons experienced a wonderful afternoon at the Hotel ZaZa spa and another dozen toured the various museums in the area.   And finally for the afternoon, 120 persons played in our golf tournament at nearby Hermann Park. 

Winners and Losers.  Everyone who participated was a winner.  Among those winners were the first place golf team (Mark Rodriguez, Pat Mizell, and Grant Dorfman), second place golf (Charles Miers, Richard Simses, Ted Malone, Kenneth Moursund, and Bob Pool), and third place  golf (John Collins, David Countiss, Jay Gibson, and Rickey Raven).  Rickey Raven won longest drive.  Even the losers were winners.  The last place team (Irene Kosturakis, Debra Baker, Susan Ponce, and Vickey McGhee) each won golf lessons from the pro at Hermann Park.  We will look for this quartet to be contending for the top next year.

After the days events,  it was back to the Hotel ZaZa for a reception and prize drawings.  The prize winners are too numerous to list, except to note that Mark Lee won the flat screen TV. Perfect weather and just a great day all around.  Again, thanks to all and to our sponsors.
