The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACC Europe) serves the needs of lawyers practising in corporations and other organisations throughout Europe. ACC Europe, with more than 2400 members, promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations and other private-sector organisations though information, education, networking opportunities and advocacy initiatives.

ACC Europe is a chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global bar association of in-house counsel, which, since its founding in 1982, has grown to more than 43,000 members in 85 countries, employed by over 10,000 organisations. JUDGMENT OF THE CJEU of 23 November 2017 (joined cases C-427/16 and C-428/16)

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (13 November 2017) — The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACC Europe), which serves the needs of more than 2,400 lawyers practicing in corporations and other organizations throughout Europe, announced that Christopher Murphy Ives, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Global Sales, EMEA & Americas at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, was elected president of the ACC Europe board of directors. ACC launched the ACC Legal Operations Maturity Model, Toolkit and Webinar Series. The reference tool provides law department leaders the ability to benchmark maturity, gain alignment on department priorities, and enhance the operations of a legal department. Consisting of 14 different areas, it will help in-house counsel advance from early to intermediate and advanced stages in key functions, such as financial management, legal technology, vendor management, knowledge management, compliance, contract management, and information governance, among others.
