Shook colleagues Katie Gates Calderon and Bridget Halbur will provide practical tips to help consumer product companies avoid common mistakes that run afoul of FTC regulations. They will also address recent marketing trends and pitfalls, including the implications of using endorsers and influencers and the impact they have on consumer decisions, as well as two recent, notable court decisions addressing claim substantiation: FTC v. Quincy Bioscience Holding Company Inc., and FTC v. National Urological Group, Inc.Their presentation will wrap up with a litigation update of the food and labeling sector.
