Eric Hilty started in 2011 as the Chief Legal Officer for the National MS Society. The National MS Society is a non-profit organization that has 1250 employees and countless volunteers in 45 Chapters covering every state. The Society provides programs and services to individuals with MS, is the largest funder of MS research, and is dedicated to a world free of MS. Eric’s responsibilities include supervising risk management, corporate governance, policy development and implementation, vendor contract review, research contract negotiation, and human relations advice and counsel. Prior to joining the National MS Society, Eric was Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO). At AIMCO, among other responsibilities, Eric managed the company’s litigation from 2003-2011. Prior to joining AIMCO, Eric was a partner at Holland and Hart in Denver in the commercial litigation group. Eric joined Holland and Hart in 1993 after completing a one-year clerkship with Judge Wade Brorby on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Eric is a 1992 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law holds a B.A. in History and Economics from Trinity University from 1988. Eric also currently serves on the board of Invest in Kids.

Marti Cardi is the Chief Compliance Officer at Reed Group, a leave of absence and disability management company. In that role she is responsible for ensuring that company services and software are provided in compliance with state and federal leave laws. Marti also serves as Reed Group’s in-house employment law counsel. Marti’s expertise in employment law and leave compliance started with more than 20 years in private practice as an associate, special counsel, and partner in Denver law firms. She then served as in-house employment counsel, first with the child care company Knowledge Learning Corporation and then with Sports Authority, the sporting goods retailer. Marti received her J.D. from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her B.A. in History from Colorado State University.

Meg McClellan is the General Counsel for the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), a non-profit research lab in Boulder, Colorado. Meg also serves as counsel to the board of trustees/directors for UCAR and the UCAR Foundation. Prior to UCAR, Meg was a partner at Slivka Robinson Waters & O’Dorisio in Denver. Meg has also served on several not-for-profit boards in the Denver metro area, including as Chair of the Jefferson County Cultural Council (1995) and Chair of the Board for Impact on Education (2007-08). Meg earned her B.A. in Economics from Colorado College and her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Sean joined IHS in June 2004 to help turn IHS into a public company. Working closely with the company’s board and leadership team, Sean serves as legal counsel on securities matters, corporate governance, and the complex regulatory issues that face a global public company. In addition, he is leading the company’s compliance program and oversees the risk management organization. Sean and his team also manage the company's intellectual property portfolio and provide legal support to the internal audit, finance, treasury, and purchasing shared services teams. Prior to joining IHS, Sean had a similar role as in-house counsel to a major telecommunications company during its rise as a public company, its successful reorganization in a New York bankruptcy court, and the sale of the business. Sean also spent many years in private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma, advising public and private companies on complex business transactions, securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, compliance investigations, and corporate governance.

Miller’s work at Policy Studies Inc. focused on government procurement and contracting, management of insurance and bond portfolios, and protection of intellectual property. Miller earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the George Washington University and is a 2007 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Prior to joining First Data, Ileana was the founder and principal of Latino Mediation LLC, a bilingual (Spanish-English) mediation services company. Previously, Ileana was an associate with Patton Boggs LLC and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLC in New York. Ileana received her JD at the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1997 and her B.A in political science in 1993 (summa cum laude). Ileana is originally from Argentina.

Shawn Cheadle serves in a dual role as General Counsel to Surveillance & Navigation Systems, a Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company business unit, and as Associate General Counsel to Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. He advises management on matters involving government contracts and subcontracts in major space and ground systems, including compliance to ITAR, FOIA, OCI, FCPA and hospitality, and control of proprietary data, and drafting and negotiating a myriad of domestic and international agreements. As AGC to Space Systems, Cheadle’s counsels on internal policies, central procurement, real estate and facilities matters, e-Discovery and records management, and general legal matters to the LM Colorado campuses. Formerly, Cheadle served two other aerospace and defense suppliers for over 10 years as General Counsel, Secretary and Regional Vice President. He currently serves on the ACC Law Department Management Committee as Chair of the Strategy & Operations subcommittee. As a Director for the ACC Colorado chapter, he served in several chapter leadership roles including President in 2007. She has extensive experience in investigations, compliance matters, and early dispute resolution. Gina is the Co-chair for the ACC Employment Law Practice Committee. From 2003-2006, Ms. Arnold served as Associate General Counsel for Western Gas Resources, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. From 2001 to 2003 Ms. Arnold was Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs and Assistant General Counsel for Crown Media Holdings, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Arnold started her legal career in Australia in 1993 before joining the law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue in Dallas, Texas, in 1998 where she practiced securities and transactional law. Ms. Arnold is a native Australian and received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania in Hobart, Australia, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia. Mr. Porter focuses on commercial transactions involving large wholesale voice and data communications service agreements with wireless, regional, national, and global service providers, as well as commercial agreements with large and small enterprise companies. Mr. Porter earned his J.D. From the University of Tulsa College of Law and is a native of Colorado, earning a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado State University. Mr. Porter serves on the Board of Directors as President of the Montessori Children's House of Denver PTSA.
